The British Isles have a unique climate – so much so, that a popular exam question of the past is 'Britain does not have a climate, it only has weather – discuss’. Such a statement has been made because weather conditions can vary so much from day to day, as well as from season to season. This session is aimed at investigating the differences between weather and climate and understanding in practical ways the methods of recording and the issues surrounding weather forecasting.
