engage and inspire pupils through multimedia, as well as new
ways to present information to students who are becoming
increasingly digitally literate. Stop motion animation offers a
simple yet effective solution.

Creating a podcast

audacityscreen.jpg In this short session (up to 2 hours) pupils are introduced to the software Audacity and are tasked with creating a short radio programme. Pupils record a script, add jingles and sound effects and background music.

Animation Outreach Seminar

anim.jpg Animation can be difficult to teach in schools so Park View CLC can come out and do it for you! We have 5 Apple laptops loaded with the software and CLC staff who will deliver the session and allow your pupils to create a completed animation. The film can cover any subject or topic.

The Comic Club

Students tire of interpreting and responding to written text in the same ways. They want new fun ways to think about literature and new ways to represent it.The elements of comic writing challenges students to develop clear plots, realistic dialogues, and meaningful visual representations.The skills learned here can later be transferred to other forms of narrative writing.
